“I love leading this company. The people are amazing and our mission is so compelling… but sometimes I feel like I’m heading for burnout.”

That was what a client said to me years ago. I’ve since coached hundreds of C-Suite and Senior Executives, Partners, and Founders in high-stakes, fast-paced organizations, and that sentiment has been repeated in some form or other by so many. The stress and pressure you face daily is intense and through all that, you’re expected to show decisiveness, grace, and authenticity as well… that’s a tall order…

Coaching is a powerful and effective way to spark new ways of being, thinking, seeing, and feeling by being open and curious.

The process

To get a holistic look at what motivates and supports you, I use various tools to start the coaching process, including the Enneagram, Human Design, Values and Strengths, and a Vertical Development assessment.

The combination of assessments will be personalized to fit your context, needs, and outcomes. This approach allows us to have deeper conversations over and above the “to dos” of leadership, focusing instead on how you are “being” and how you need to be, to achieve your personal and professional objectives.  

Then, through powerful questions, deep listening, somatic and mindfulness practices - a customized combination of Embodied Leadership tools that constitute the proprietary Clarusoma Method - we will unlock the wisdom and knowing that you hold within you to be at your best, so that you can deliver results in the best way possible.

Coaching sessions offer a confidential, safe space where you can bring your whole self to the conversation.

  • We start with a 30-minute chemistry session so we can get to know one another and I can understand your needs and objectives.

  • Depending on your goals and context, a series of evidence-based developmental frameworks and tools will be used in our coaching sessions.

  • Executive coaching is typically offered on the basis of a 12-month retainer, and the duration and frequency of sessions will be personalized to your needs.

  • Conducted in person (subject to location and budget) or online, either on Zoom or MS Teams.

  • Limited to 12 clients.

 
 

 

Team & group coaching

 
 

I coach Executive Lead Teams, Intact Teams, and Groups to break down siloes, enhance communication, and build resilience.

Using the Thinking Environment® and the Enneagram as foundational tools, I work with teams and groups through engaging dialogue and group coaching processes, taking a systemic approach.

Executive Lead Teams - ELTs often focus on their vertical teams and lose sight of themselves as a vertical team. Working with teams of up to 12 people, our process will address both known and unconscious challenges, build up collective wisdom and strengths, and create a common vision and language to break down siloes and encourage greater cross-functional collaboration.

Intact Teams - similar to ELTs, we will also address known and unknown biases, challenges, and assumptions that get in the way of effective, efficient teamwork. These workshops will create greater appreciation of the diversity and strengths of the team, enhance mutual understanding, and upskill team cohesiveness and communication to bring you to the next level.

Groups - Group coaching is for individuals who come together in a “system” with a common objective. These may be groups of individuals working on a development activity at work, or people from unrelated organizations participating in a training program. Group coaching will create a safe, effective space to build connection, share experiences, and mutual learning.


 

 

Thinking partnership

 
 

Being a senior leader or founder can be a lonely place. Sometimes, you just need someone to be a really good listener.

Deep listening is a wonderful way to allow ideas to flow, and help you think through challenging, convoluted problems that need to be solved.

Using The Thinking Environment® processes, as well as metaphorical role play, and polarity mapping, partner with me as you work through some of your most critical problems and dilemmas.

 

Thinking Partnerships are for senior leaders and founders who need an objective third party’s ear.

  • We start with a 30-minute chemistry session so we can get to know one another and I can understand your needs and objectives. I will also describe the structure of these sessions.

  • Book in a Thinking Partner session - choose from a one-off call or a package of 3 sessions.

  • Each Thinking Partner session lasts for 45-minutes with a standard structure: Brief (10 minutes), Goal (5 minutes), Wave 1 (10 minutes), Clarify (5 minutes), Wave 2 (10 minutes), Completion (5 minutes).

  • These are conducted online on Zoom.

 
 

 

Radical career transitions

 

A radical mid-career transition for senior executives can be a daunting journey.

I coach executives through radical mid-career transitions. This means executives that have been in an industry or role for over a decade, and now want to make a career change that is so vastly different, it involves questioning and redesigning your work identity.

Risk and opportunity cost are the two biggest stressors for you, as you seek a move into a different industry or attempt to take the plunge into a portfolio career or entrepreneurship.

Just like climbing at high altitudes, you need to know when to pause, take slower steps, evaluate your path ahead and - if you need it - ask for extra oxygen. I’m here as your sounding board to rediscover your gifts and strengths to take the road less travelled.
